Girls Find their groove at belly dancing workshop 

Nancy Keshk leads the popular belly dancing workshop at Culture Day during the Sioux Mountain Festival.

Even the rain didn't dampen spirits at the 19th Sioux Mountain Festival on the July 31-August 2 weekend." This year's edition was packed with a schedule of workshops and performers better than ever before," said antiracism committee summer coordinator Alexa Maxwell. She, along with projects and partnerships coordinator Katy Quinn, and summer students Nicole Maxwell and Astrid Johnston, organized the festival with the help of youth center coordinator, Dan Fraser, Susan Barclay, sound technicians Tom Kuzemczak and James Brohm, SLARC chair Terry-Lynne Jewel and youth center intern Mark Hoggarth.
