Hello my friends, you may have read in the papers that we were changing the dates of our Sioux Mountain Festival a week later after the Blueberry Festival, after some diliberation we have decided to keep it as it was and just switch the Music Festival to Saturday and the Cultural Day to Sunday, so the dates are July 30 for the Bannock Bakeoff, July 31 Music Festival and August 1 for the Cultural Day, if you have any question regarding the Sioux Mountain Festival give us a call at 807-737-1501 or send me an email dfraser@slarc.c

Girls Find their groove at belly dancing workshop 

Nancy Keshk leads the popular belly dancing workshop at Culture Day during the Sioux Mountain Festival.

The Sioux Mountain Festival is a two-day festival that showcases the rich artistic and cultural heritage of the Sioux Lookout region. This year's festival features: music, workshops, booths, food and more, and an actively engaged a mixed audience in the diverse cultural offerings of the region. We are currently looking for musicians to play on Saturday, July 30th and artists to display their work or host workshops on Sunday, July 31st.
